Ashton is a MD/PhD Candidate at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and the Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her dissertation work focuses on Liver Transplantation among HIV-infected individuals. She is also interested in the epidemiologic theory and methods, medical education, and justice.
Ashton works with the Epidemiology Research Group in Organ Transplantation (ERGOT) at the JHU Department of Surgery.
